About Dr. Katie Cutting Ed.D, NCSP, LLPC

Hi, I’m Dr. Katie Cutting, and I’ve been dedicated to supporting children, teens, young adults, and families since 2012. My career has taken me through many caring roles—teacher, doula, school psychologist, and wellness coach—which allows me to bring a unique, whole-person perspective to therapy.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside clients navigating grief, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life transitions. Through my women’s wellness practice, Be You Women’s Wellness, I’ve supported young women in finding strength, healing, and new ways to thrive. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are—with compassion, evidence-based strategies, and a safe space to explore your story.

I’ve also spent more than a decade working in schools and the private sector, evaluating and supporting hundreds of children with learning, emotional, and developmental challenges, including ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, and Learning Disabilities. Whether it’s guiding parents through difficult decisions, teaching executive functioning and coping skills, or creating individualized plans, I believe in empowering families with the tools they need right now.

My educational journey began at Michigan State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Child Development with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. I went on to complete a Master’s (M.Ed.) in Educational Psychology, an Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S.), and a Doctorate (Ed.D.) in School Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. I am a Certified School Psychologist in Michigan, a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP).

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: therapy should feel both supportive and practical. I’m here to help you uncover your strengths, make sense of challenges, and move toward growth with clarity and confidence.
